KUALA LUMPUR: Measures taken to control water levels at the Jalan Tun Perak Bridge through the SMART Tunnel (Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel) helped prevent floods in risky areas on Saturday, said Irrigation and Drainage Department SMART Control Centre (SCC) director Low Koon Sing.
He said the Flood Detection System (FDS) at the SCC detected heavy rainfall in SMART rainwater catchment centres startin... g 5.10pm until 7.15pm.
